CO-FOUNDER, CEO
Dotan is a bold strategist and born leader of multidisciplinary teams. For over fifteen years he has taken dozens of deep-tech solutions from ideation to application, artfully navigating uncertainty to change lives. Now, he steers Gigablue to achieve its audacious vision. Dotan holds an MBA, two BAs in Landscape Architecture and Arts, and runs a non-profit for veteran rehabilitation.

Ori is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and team builder with a proven track record of creating successful AI-powered products across digital health, smart cities, and sustainable mobility. As the driving force behind Gigablue’s strategy, commercialization, revenue generation, and go-to-market execution, Ori masterfully aligns vision with action. His leadership inspires teams to overcome challenges and achieve ambitious goals, ensuring Gigablue delivers transformative, multi-generational climate impact.

Sapir directs the R&D of Gigablue’s revolutionary technology for deep sea carbon export. As an environmental scientist and experienced tech product manager, becoming a climate tech entrepreneur was a natural calling. She brings over 6 years of hands-on experience managing complex product design in natural systems.

Throughout his decorated career, Guy has specialized in precision execution of complex projects involving physical technology. With 12 years experience leading PR, marketing, and sales for multinational brands, and as the leader of a prestigious entrepreneurs program, Meirav brings unparalleled business skills to Gigablue’s monetization strategy. Guided by an acute sense of climate urgency, she develops the relationships and framework to scale globally. Meirav is a lecturer and holds an MBA and BPT.

Matan is a climate entrepreneur and community builder with years of experience supporting corporate carbon buyers, startups, banks, and VC funds achieve their climate goals. Leveraging an intimate knowledge of the interface between carbon and capital markets, and over a decade as a government official, he works with industry partners to bring Gigablue’s marine CDR to the market.

Lital has over a decade’s worth of intense project management and team leadership experience spanning fundraising and performance marketing. Lital holds a BSc in Sociology.

Eden is an experienced finance executive with expertise in budget management, forecasting, and raising capital. She has worked across multiple hi-tech sectors including FinTech, and Cybersecurity. Eden has a proven track record in overseeing complex fiscal operations, and has led multi-million-dollar investment deals. Committed to optimising financial systems and supporting growth, Eden holds a BA in Accounting and an MBA in Finance.

MARINE OPERATIONS SCIENTIST
Natasha is a widely published world leader in ocean microbial ecology, pioneer of aphotic carbon fixation research. She is the recipient of multiple prestigious grants and a meticulous producer of scientific expeditions. Bringing over two decades of mesocosm investigation, Natasha leads R&D of precision IP for quantifying plankton productivity, abundance, and sequestration. She holds a PhD in Marine Microbiology.

Hillel is a highly experienced Chief Engineer who has successfully delivered numerous marine engineering projects. He focuses on scaling the dispersion of Gigablue’s carbon capture and sequestration technology by designing experiments, operating measurement and sampling tools, and leading expeditions out at sea. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Geography and is a qualified skipper.

Michal is a decorated marine scientist, specializing in plankton -food web interactions. Leveraging 20 years of research, she builds ecological models to refine Gigablue’s technology. Michal also leads big data analysis for geo-optimizing global deployment. She holds a PhD in Marine Sciences, lectures, and volunteers to protect turtles and take handicapped individuals diving.

R&D TEAM LEADER
Amit is a multidisciplinary master of aquatic systems, intent on tackling the greatest of environmental issues–global warming and water scarcity. Leveraging profound experience in surface science and the integration of materials into complex bio-processes, he leads Gigablue’s plankton farm development team in all chemical, biological and engineering aspects. Amit holds a PhD in Water and Environmental Sciences.

MATERIALS SCIENTIST
Marina is on a mission to create safe, scalable, yet ingeniously simple carbon sequestration. Drawing on a PhD in Soil & Water Chemistry and experience in product development, she designs the natural compounds in Gigablue’s micro-farms. Intricately combining natural minerals and nutrients, Marina unlocks staged functionality while ensuring long-term stability in unpredictable aquatic settings.

MARINE MICROBIOLOGIST
Inventor and Senior R&D Microbiologist, Or channels his desire to bring about a healthier world into rigorously evaluating, validating and constantly improving Gigablue’s carbon dioxide fixation efficiency. As an expert in algal photobioreactors, 3D printing, and biostatistics, he spearheads lab cultivation and open-sea experiments. Or holds an MSc in Marine Biotechnology.

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER
Adi is a maverick environmental engineer, developer of 5 cleantech products. As a key member of Gigablue’s R&D team and a TOC expert, she leads the scale-up of the company’s controlled mesocosm, while building software and tools for material and microbiology experimentation. She is a lifelong volunteer with the elderly and animals, and holds a MSc in Environmental Science.

CDR LAB TECHNICIAN
Omer is a materials engineer and data analyst, specializing in nano biochemical sensing and fabrication. Blending years of team leadership and experimental design, he runs Gigablue’s labs, ensuring sequestered carbon is detectable and measurable. Omer is a diver and sailor, passionate about applying tech to benefit the marine environment. He is concluding a Materials B.Eng. and B.Sc. in Chemistry.

MICROBIOLOGY LAB TECHNICIAN
Gye is an expert in microbial cell cultivation and carbon quantification on Gigablue’s R&D team. She is widely trained in underwater research methods, alongside being a scuba diving instructor and licensed skipper. Gye holds a BSc. with Honors in Marine Biotechnology, with a specialty in marine aquaculture.

PROCESS SCALE-UP ENGINEER
Yuval is a Senior Process Engineer on the particle development team. Leveraging a BSc. in Biotechnology Engineering and a rich background in semiconductor and diamond manufacturing, he streamlines the transition from lab to commercial scale production of Gigablue’s carbon capture particles. Coordinating between science, operations, and supply chain, Yuval ensures high-throughput at the highest quality.
